Middle School

Middle School at St. Ann School encompasses Grades 6 through 8. St. Ann School provides a diverse middle school curriculum which uses the Allentown Diocesan Curriculum and the Pennsylvania State standards for overall guidance. Subjects are taught in a departmentalized system that, with the support of their teachers, provides an academically rich, faith filled, nurturing environment that guides the students through the early adolescent years preparing them for the academic challenges of high school. A weekly Study Skills class is a part of the Middle School curriculum and helps the students learn to budget their time, complete long term projects and develop study habits that they will use throughout their educational years.

Middle School students have numerous opportunities to participate in activities as an extension of the academic curriculum. Participation in annual competitions, such as; Math Counts, PJAS, National History Day, Academic Bowl, Reading Olympics, Music and Art competitions, as well as athletic competitions allow the Middle School students to develop their leadership, character, and social skills.

Our dedicated Middle School teaching team, challenging Middle School curriculum, and consistently high IOWA standardized test scores indicate our successful approach is meeting the academic and social needs of our middle school students.
