Our Mission
St. Ann School, a Catholic parish school, is dedicated to educating the whole child, stressing religious, moral, academic, social, physical and emotional development in accordance with the teachings of Jesus Christ. Our goal is to prepare our students to meet the challenges of an ever-changing and morally complex world as people of faith.
We believe:
-
That Catholic school is part of the community of faith and a ministry of the church;
therefore, God is first and foremost in all we do. -
Each individual is created uniquely in God’s divine image and likeness.
-
It is essential to provide an atmosphere in which each child can use his/her talents to become the person God intended.
-
The transmission of faith and cultural values is a primary responsibility of education.
-
That the educational program should meet the needs of the individual students.
-
All children have a right to safety, love and learning.
-
Diversity in our schools, families, and communities will be understood and appreciated.
-
Education is an ever-changing lifelong process and students need to view themselves as life-long learners.
-
Education begins in the home and is the shared responsibility of the school, students, family and the community.
-
The education of our children will build a better future.
