Extended Care
The
St. Ann School Extended Care program provides a safe, structured,
family-like atmosphere in our school building, and is available to all
St. Ann students in Kindergarten to grade 8. Our extended care
program coordinator is a fully certified elementary school teacher, and
is assisted by highly qualified support staff.
PROGRAM
SCHEDULE
Extended Care
is available any day school is in session, and will follow the yearly
school calendar.
Before School Care
hours are from 7am to 8am. This time is usually a quiet, relaxing
time for the children. Breakfast in not provided, however,
children may bring breakfast with them. If school is delayed due
to inclement weather, Before School Care will still open at 7am.
After School Care
hours are from 3pm to 6pm.
On
scheduled early dismissal days, after school care will still be open
until 6pm. On early dismissal days due to inclement weather, the
program will run for two (2) hours after actual dismissal time.
3:00-3:30 – Students arrive and sign in. At this time they may
change into play clothes
3:30-4:00 – Snack time will begin. Students are to bring their own
snack. Juice or water will be provided.
4:00-4:45 – Various activities will take place including a play time
either outside or inside, depending on the weather. Time for
games, crafts, etc.
4:45-6:00 – Time will be provided for all students to work on homework
under the supervision of one of the staff members. As the children
complete their homework they may resume free play activities.
Late Pickup
Please
contact us if you are going to be late due to an extenuating
circumstance. A late fee of $5.00 per each 15 minutes will be
charged to those who fail to call 610-966-0746.
PROGRAM FEES
Students may attend Extended Care on a full-time, part-time or as needed
(drop-in) basis. The cost per child is $5.00 per hour in full hour
increments. There is a $25.00 per child non-refundable
registration fee to enroll you child in the program each school year.
Payment is due on a weekly basis. Payment is to be made by cash or
check in the Extended Care envelope provided each week.
